I was disappointed with my recent experience at El Angel Azul. I pre-ordered 25 empanadas and 15 pandebonos three days in advance, expecting the order to be prepared fresh. When I picked up my order, I was surprised that no ajΓ was included. When I asked about it, I was told it would be an additional charge. As someone who regularly orders Colombian empanadas, I’ve found that ajΓ is typically included as a standard accompaniment, so this was unexpected. I was also disappointed to see that the 15 pandebonos appeared to come from the display case rather than being freshly prepared for a large advance order. When customers place an order several days ahead, it’s reasonable to expect the items to be made fresh rather than pulled from existing inventory. The food itself was good, but the lack of attention to these details made the experience feel less special than I had anticipated.

Absolutely awful and humiliating experience at Angel Azul Bakery Cafe. Around 5 AM, after walking my elderly service dog, I stopped in to buy coffee and use the restroom. I am pregnant, exhausted, and my senior service dog was quietly sitting in a sling the entire time β€” not barking, not walking around, and not bothering anyone. Despite the fact that I was a paying customer, I was refused access to the restroom because of my service dog. Then multiple employees aggressively approached me at once, surrounded me, spoke to me in a rude and hostile manner, and demanded a β€œcertificate” for my dog. Under the ADA, businesses are not allowed to deny access because of a service animal, and they are not allowed to demand certification or documentation. The way I was treated was degrading, aggressive, and completely unacceptable. Instead of handling the situation calmly and respectfully, the staff escalated it and made me feel attacked over a quiet elderly dog being carried in a sling. Very disturbing behavior and a shocking lack of professionalism and understanding of basic ADA laws.

I have been coming here for 10 years, and their small coffee has gone from $1 to $1.25 in that past time. Probably the only place in the area that does not over charge for coffee... And it's the best coffee I have ever had. The staff is always friendly and kind. I get a cafe con leche and pandebono for $2.50 and always leave something in the tip jar for the amazing staff. I truly appreciate this bakery

Place looks nice. They need to hire someone to make coffee. Coffe was horrible. I ask for small late. They say we don’t do late small. I ask them to give me little be milk then. What I got was a huge cup of coffee can barely taste coffee. And was so hot that I burn my mouth. I recommend to hire a professional barista to make a good coffee. I can buy coffee somewhere else and came here to eat the bakery. Will that be other option to
